TV Cancelations and New Shows Coming Next Season

Fox confirmed rumors that they're bringing back "Last Man Standing" . . . the CW is reviving "Charmed" and "Roswell" . . . and ABC has decided NOT to renew "Kevin Can Wait", which essentially became a revival of "King of Queens" when they brought in Leah Remini last year.

NBC's cancellations include "Great News" and "Rise".  They're undecided on "Timeless" for the second year in a row . . . but they ARE bringing back all three of their "Chicago" shows, plus "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", which will get a 20th season.

NBC unveiled their schedule for next season, and it includes a drama called "Manifest", which is like "Lost" in reverse.  This time, a missing plane suddenly reappears after five years.  There's also yet another medical drama called "New Amsterdam", and a reality competition show starring The Rock.

Other Upfront News...

ABC has canceled "Designated Survivor" and "Quantico".  They've also dropped "Deception", "Alex, Inc.", "The Crossing", "Kevin (Probably) Saves the World", and "The Mayor".

CBS is done with "Scorpion" after four seasons.

Fox has canceled "Lucifer" after three seasons.

Syfy canceled the space drama "The Expanse".

The CW is not moving forward with the "Supernatural" spin-off "Wayward Sisters".

That "Greatest American Hero" remake has been abandoned by ABC.
