Who is DJ Shawna?

We're thrilled to welcome DJ Shawna to the 97-3 NOW team and The No Pants Party! We figured you'd want to know a little bit more about her, so we did a Q&A:

I can’t live without: My Batman onesie

Biggest fear: Losing my Batman onesie

If I could live anywhere, it’d be: In the BatCave, with Batman.

Snack obsession: Batman fruit snacks.

My go-to karaoke or cover song is: I’m absolutely tone deaf and avoid karaoke at all costs. Probably why I’m a DJ...turn it up louder so no one can hear me sing along.

Have you ever had a nickname? Does DJ Shawna count as a nickname? Otherwise, Shawn-Dogg was quite popular for awhile during my teenage years.

TV show I binge is: Big Bang Theory!

Word/Phrase I use too much: #DareToBe ❤️

My first job was: When I was about 4 years old, I don’t remember having much say about this, but I was fortunate enough to get hired as ‘Big Sister’ to Justin. I’m sure you’ve heard of him before. Not even sure I was even that qualified, but I knew the right people and nailed my interview.

New artist or song I’m obsessed with: Lizzo. She’s been on the come up for awhile now and I’m just waiting for her to pop off and everyone to jump on the Lizzo train. Listen to “Fitness” and try not to wiggle!
